What You’ll Need:
19g Whole Bean Coffee
290g Filtered Water
Coffee Grinder set at Medium-Fine
Bring your water to a boil and remove from heat. Let water sit for at least a minute before brewing to allow it to cool to around 200.F. Place the paper filter into the V60 and set on top of your mug. Thoroughly rinse your filter with hot water to remove the papery taste and preheat your V60 and mug. Discard the water.
Weigh your coffee and grind.
Put the ground coffee into your paper filter making sure it is evenly distributed.
Place the V60 on your mug.
Slowly pour in 60g of water and allow the coffee to bloom.
Let this take place for at least 30 seconds.
Slowly pour an additional 235g of water in a clockwise motion about 1 inch in diameter in the center of the bloom. Make sure not to pour to quickly and overfill your V60.
Once the coffee has drained, remove the V60 from your mug and enjoy.
Makes approximately 10oz.
